Install WorkWeek on your phone
Follow the instructions for your device, then open WorkWeek from your Home Screen or app drawer for the most reliable experience.
Choose your device
For the most reliable offline and data-free clocking, install WorkWeek as a web app. You can still use WorkWeek in a browser, but those capabilities are not guaranteed there.
Chrome
Install on Android
Use Google Chrome on this device.
- 1
Open Chrome's menu
Tap the three-dot menu in Chrome.
- 2
Choose the app option
Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
- 3
Open WorkWeek
Launch WorkWeek from your Home Screen or app drawer.
Safari
Install on iPhone or iPad
Use Safari on this device.
- 1
Open Safari's Share menu
Tap Share or More in Safari.
- 2
Add to Home Screen
Choose Add to Home Screen and turn on Open as Web App.
- 3
Open WorkWeek
Launch WorkWeek from your Home Screen.
Work offline after your first connected launch
Open the installed app once while you have data or Wi-Fi. WorkWeek can then keep supported clocking work available without data.
Reconnect to sync
When data or Wi-Fi returns, reopen WorkWeek and allow saved work to synchronise before closing the app.
Troubleshooting
The icon opens a browser tab
Delete that shortcut and install again using Install app in Chrome, or Add to Home Screen with Open as Web App turned on in Safari.
Add to Home Screen is missing in Safari
Make sure the page is open in Safari, not inside another app's browser. Scroll through the Share menu or tap Edit Actions to find Add to Home Screen.
WorkWeek may already be installed
Search your Home Screen or app drawer for WorkWeek. Open that app icon instead of continuing in the browser tab.
